Martial Art Synopsis
SiGung (Instructor) Steven G. Jungmann has loved martial arts since
a young boy...especially kung fu. He began studying Pai Lum Kung Fu
in the mid 1980’s
and has trained ever since. He and his school had the distinction of
being the
first outside school adopted by Grandmaster Glenn C. Wilson into his
Gong Yuen Chuan Fa Family (‘Family of the Hard and Soft Fist’) in
1994.
He was honored by Grandmaster in 2000 by being elevated to the
distinguished
title of Dragon Warrior and received the permanent symbol of the
Family Shield
emblazoned on his arm as well as his Chinese name, Sheng, or
"Rising."
In 2002 SiGung Jungmann defeated opponents from around the world to
take the
Super Heavy Weight Full Contact Lei Tai champion title.
SiGung Jungmann continues to train under his teacher, Grandmaster
Glenn Wilson, and travels with him around the nation to serve the
Gong Yuen Chuan Fa family and spread the Pai Lum Tao.
General Life Synopsis
SiGung Steve Jungmann was born and raised in Kansas. He has received a Bachelor’s of Art Degree with Highest Distinction
and Honors in two of his three majors: Communication Studies and Religious Studies (third major was Personnel Administration) from
the University of Kansas. In 1986 he received a Masters of Divinity Degree from Trinity
International Seminary in Deerfield, IL.

SiGung Jungmann currently works for
the Department of Justice Federal Weed & Seed Initiative as a
consultant and liaison helping reduce crime in the inner city of
Milwaukee. He has won several distinctions in this capacity
including an award from the Mayor of the City of Milwaukee
proclaiming January 14, 1999 "Steven G. Jungmann Day" for working
with diverse cultures in his efforts to reduce crime.
Since 1999 he has produced and hosted a popular local cable show
called
Milwaukee Justice Live which interviews leaders in the city.
SiGung Jungmann continues to teach and run the Rising Dragon Martial
Arts
school in Milwaukee, WI.
Some of his interests include travel, riding his Harley, volleyball,
reading and writing, and, of course, kung fu. |
