Dragon Martial Arts:
SiFu
Tuy Tran
Tuy-Quoc Tran is a 20
year old young man who has already started making his mark
in the martial arts world. A world champion in forms (2002),
Sifu Tuy has also achieved numerous gold medals in state,
world, and international competition.
Along with his staff,
"Mr. Wiggles," he helps teach classes at Rising Dragon
Martial Arts and received his black sash under the guidance
of SiGung Jungmann in 2004. Aside from being an instructor,
he attends UW-Milwaukee as a full time student. Sifu Tuy
enjoys his home life with his dad, Tam-Minh-Tran, his mom,
Thanh-son-Pham, and his sister, Kim-Van-Tran. He enjoys
activities such as hanging out with friends, playing pool,
dancing (including break dancing), playing sports, and
computer gaming. Along with his hobbies, Sifu Tuy is a one
of the Youth Leaders of a Vietnamese Eucharistic group
called Thieu Nhi Thanh The (TNTT), President of the UWM
Break dancing Club and is apart of various Hip Hop dance
groups called Train Rek Casualties and Gravity Benders.

Melodie Jungmann
SiFu Melodie Jungmann has over 12 years of experience in
martial arts. Besides her 2nd degree black belt in kung fu, Sifu Melodie
holds rank in kenpo, tai chi, chi kung, and in Sanshou kickboxing.
Proving that fighting is not just a man's art, SiFu
Melodie defeated all men in the black belt division (ages 39 and younger)
at the International Pai Lum Tao tournaments in
2009 and 2008. She has won numerous international and state gold
medals in full contact lei tai and san shou kick boxing.
In forms she won the gold medal in the weapons form division
at Pai Lum Tao in 2007 and she has silver medals at the United States Kuo Shu
Federation (USKSF) in international competition. She has numerous state
trophies and medals in all divisions of forms and fighting.
Outside of teaching and training, Sifu Melodie enjoys spending
time with her husband, Steve, and their 7 year old daughter, Lauren, in such
activities as African Drumming, cycling, and traveling. She enjoys the
violin, creative cooking, and studying kineseology at the University of
Wisconsin. | | |
