Wisconsin tournament went off with out a hitch

Dragons from all over the Milwaukee area came to the Wisconsin State tournament and competed with honor and courage.  All competitors were winners, as just being able to get up in front of their teachers and teachers from other schools and perform their best, has made all of us proud.  All money raised at the tournament will be used to help pay for Wisconsin competitors to travel to the international tournament.

Thank you to all who competed and all who came to support their friends and family in the tournament.

Si Tai Gung Glen C. Wilson travels to Wisconsin for testing and training

Grandmaster Wilson provided some awesome seminars to a full room of students at Rising Dragon Martial Arts on the weekend of April 13, 2007.   After getting students energy going with a chi kung seminar, he taught some formulas for martial art excellency and taught some street defenses.   Later on he taught an advanced seminar for instructors and assistant instructors.   Training, testing, teaching and talking filled the weekend.  We look forward to Grandmaster's next visit!

Year End Competition results for 2006"

The Wisconsin Dragons returned from the Pai Lum Tao International Conference & Tournament where they dominated in performance and spirit.  Many gold, silver and bronze medals were earned in one of the most difficult tournaments in the world.  See below for some of the competitors  results from Rising Dragon Martial Arts students who attended.  I am  proud of the three students from Wisconsin who earned out of hundreds of nominations Outstanding Support Awards:  Sifu William Sciano, Sifu Melodie Dampier, and Sidi Charlotte Shain.  Also congratulations to SiHing Scott Muelling  for  achieving the SiHing of the Year award.   I was also very pleased that more students and family members came to Orlando than any other state outside of Florida.  That is terrific support of our family!  It has been an awesome year for the WI dragons!

Pai Lum Tao returned to the states after 2 weeks in China, including five students from Wisconsin.  It was a fantastic time that mixed training with Shaolin monks, Shaolin schools, and the tai chi coach of all China with sight seeing events such as the Great Wall, Mings Tomb, the Forbidden City, and much more.  Come see  photos and items brought back from China on display at the school.  Students from Wisconsin who traveled and trained in China were:  SiGung Steve Jungmann, Simo Melodie Jungmann, Sifu Tuy Tran, SiHing Scott Muelling, and Sidi Peter Nguyen.
